Chief Creative Officer
Nathasoruban Sivapatham or Soru as he is most popularly known, joined TBWA\Sri Lanka as Chief Creative Officer in (year) bringing with him over 25 years of experience in the advertising industry. A strategic thinker and a brand builder, Soru, who is a gentle soul who graduated with a specialized BSc. in Mass Communications from Loyola College in India.
Beginning his advertising career in 1993, Soru has worked as an Executive Creative Director at JWT Sri Lanka, LOWE Lintas (Mullenlowe at present), and Geometry Global, and as Head of Creative at Ogilvy Outreach. During his tenure, Soru has spearheaded effective and memorable campaigns for local and international brands including Unilever, Nestle, GSK, Pepsi, Fonterra, Hayleys, Dialog, Maliban, CTC, HSBC, Caltex, Elephant House, Commercial Bank, and Bank of Ceylon.
Soru’s creative leadership has won five awards at Spikes Asia, two Dragons of Asia awards, and one ADC award along with many wins at the locally held Effies, Chillies, and Epica Sri Lanka awards.
